ROYAL - X marked the spot Friday night for Class 1A No. 1 Zillah.
Leopards point guard X Castilleja hit a game-winning 3-pointer at the buzzer while falling down to help Zillah escape Royal with an 88-84 victory against the fourth-ranked Knights.
The victory gives the Leopards a season sweep of Royal, and a two-game lead atop the SCAC.

The Knights, who split four meetings with Zillah a year ago, knotted the score 84-84 with a 3-pointer with 24 seconds.
Inbounding in front of their own bench with 4.2 seconds left in the game, the Leopards' attempted lob pass to Dekker Van De Graaf at the rim was batted away.
Royal's outlet pass was then slapped away by Castilleja, who gathered the ball and launched the shot with about a second left while being fouled by Dax Jenks.
Time expired, but after a quick discussion, the official put 0.3 seconds back on the clock.
Castilleja made his free throw, and a desperation shot by Royal missed.
The Leopards (10-0 SCAC, 14-0), who won the first matchup 80-60, were led by Dekker Van De Graaf's 19 points. Castilleja, Budda Aranda and Memphis Jones each had 17 points, while Jayden Saenz chipped in 14.
Zillah is off until next Friday when Wahluke comes to town.
Royal (7-2, 11-2) heads to fifth-ranked Chelan for a nonleague matchup Saturday. SCAC leading-scorer Grant Wardenaar has 34 points and Manny Ruvalcaba added 31 on Friday for the Knights.
