ELLENSBURG – Third-ranked Selah completed an unbeaten run through the CWAC on Friday night, rolling past Ellensburg, 83-41.

Vikings junior Oliver Pepper matched a career-high with 38 points, knocking down eight 3-pointers, half of them in the first quarter.

Selah (16-0 CWAC, 19-2 overall), which has won five straight, opened a 10-point lead after the first quarter and never looked back.

Carson Decker added 14 points for the Vikings, and JR DePell added 10 points.

Jaxon Orejudos led Ellensburg with 15 points.

Selah is the No. 1 seed in the district tournament, and will welcome the Bulldogs (8-8, 9-12) to Carl Kellman Gym for a district opener Wednesday.

Ninth-ranked Grandview (13-3, 15-6), which has been battling injuries, held off Prosser, 53-52. The teams will meet again Wednesday,

In the CBBN, sixth-ranked West Valley (10-0 CBBN, 16-2) is two victories away from an unbeaten romp through the conference after beating Sunnyside, 63-46.

The Grizzlies (6-3, 11-6), Moses Lake (6-3, 11-6) and Davis (6-4, 6-12) are battling for the second spot behind the Rams.
