The first week was a solid debut with a 12-1 record, but conference play and picking winners is about to get interesting, with both the CWAC (Selah at Othello) and SCAC (Royal at Zillah) to feature a matchup between unbeatens.
The Vikings have yet to be in a tight game this season, with a pair of running-clock victories to start the season, before pulling away from West Valley. Defending CWAC champ Othello, though, awaits Selah this Friday.
Meanwhile, before the Knights host Cashmere on Oct. 3, the 1A champs head to Zillah, where a sophomore-led crew looks for the upset.
