GRANDVIEW – Third-ranked Ellensburg remained unbeaten conference play with a 25-13, 25-17, 25-19 sweep of Grandview.

The Bulldogs have dropped just one set in conference play.

Ellensburg hosts Ephrata on Thirsday in conference play, before entertaining Davis in a nonleaguer match on Saturday,

An already strong nonleague schedule, which includes a victory against three-time Class 1A champion Chelan, gets even stronger Oct. 16 when the Bulldogs visit Wenatchee, the CBBN favorite which is ranked fourth in Class 4A.

TOPPENISH 3, OTHELLO 2: At Toppenish, the Wildcats snuck past the Huskies to move into a fourth-place tie with Grandview.

PROSSER 3, EAST VALLEY 1: At Yakima, the 10th-ranked Mustangs outlasted the Red Devils on the road.

EPHRATA 3, QUINCY 0: At Ephrata, the Tigers swept at home 25-11, 25-11, 25-11.

CASHMERE 3, WAHLUKE 0: At Mattawa, the fourth-ranked Bulldogs remained unbeaten in conference play with their 10th sweep in SCAC play.

COLLEGE PLACE 3, WAPATO 0: At College Place, the Hawks swept to even their conference record and move into a fourth-place tie with the Wolves.

SELAH 3, SUNNYSIDE 0: At Selah, the seventh-ranked Vikings swept the nonleague match.

SELAH 2, EPHRATA 1 (0T): At Selah, sophomore Maddie Phinney scored the game-winning goal in overtime as Selah outlasted a scrappy Ephrata side 2-1 to maintain sole possession of first place in the CWAC.

Jill Linehan put the Tigers ahead 1-0 with an unassisted goal two minutes into the match before Elayna Blodgett drew the Vikings even with a goal in the 15th minute. Ephrata goalkeeper Aiyana Valle made a number of key saves to keep Ephrata close, but Phinney's goal three minutes into overtime proved to be the difference.

Selah (7-3 overall) visits Grandview on Saturday and Ephrata (2-2 CWAC, 4-4 overall) travels to East Valley, a 5-1 winner over West Valley on Tuesday night.

ELLENSBURG 3, TOPPENISH 0: At Toppenish, Makenna Shaw netted two goals and Faith Rector added another as the Bulldogs won.

PROSSER 2, QUINCY 1: At Prosser, Arabella Taylor’s two goalw carried the Mustangs to the victory.

OTHELLO 2, GRANDVIEW 1: At Othello, the Huskies beat the Greyhounds 5-4 on penalty kicks to earn the victory.
