Friday night’s three CBBN games wrapped up the conference schedules for the Big Nine, CWAC and SCAC.
No berths to the Week 10 state-qualifiers were gained or lost, but the first-place teams – Moses Lake, East Valley and Royal – put up lopsided victories in hope of bettering their seedings when the pairings are revealed Sunday.
In the CBBN, Moses Lake, Eastmont, Sunnyside and Wenatchee earned berths in the field of 32 4A teams.
The 2A 32 teams will include East Valley, Othello, Prosser, Ephrata and Selah.
And in the 1A, which will be 24 teams, Royal, Cashmere, Zillah, Connell and Naches Valley. Wapato meets Cascade in Royal at 1 p.m. Saturday in a tiebreaker format with the winner joining the field.
The Week 10 matchups are not part of the WIAA playoffs, instead the winners are then reseeded in the state bracket. The top four teams in the 1A will receive byes into the quarterfinals.
Here are the final conference standings, along with the matchups set for the teams that did not qualify for the play-ins.
