ELLENSBURG – Second-ranked Ellensburg dispensed with most of the dramatics Wednesday, sweeping past No. 8 Selah to capture the CWAC district championship.

The Bulldogs won 25-21, 25-12, 28-26 two weeks and a day after outlasting the Vikings in a five-set classic in the lone regular-season matchup between the teams.

Ellensburg (16-2), the runner-up at last year’s Class 2A state tournament, and Selah (14-4) advance to the Yakima Valley SunDome and await the seedings to be released Sunday before the Nov. 14-15 event.
