PASCO – Ellensburg senior Mystic Hammond was second in the Class 2A boys race Saturday, helping the Bulldogs place third in the state cross country meet at Sun Willows Golf Course.

Ellensburg’s girls, led by Grace Beachy’s ninth-place finish, were second.

Eisenhower’s Kian Compton was fourth in the 4A boys race, while Wenatchee’s Anna Hirsch was ninth.
