East Valley continued its perfect season with a 27-24 victory Saturday against Lynden at West Valley's Clasen Field in the quarterfinals Class 2A football playoffs.

Senior H-back Cody Gasseling rushed for 132 yards and two touchdowns on 18 carries. He also caught a 31-yard score from Jaxon Berg, who threw for 105 yards and two touchdowns.

The Red Devils, seeded third, will meet No. 2 Tumwater on Saturday.
