Davis boys fall at Camas to open season
Pirates start slowly, can't catch up to Papermakers on the road

CAMAS – Camas jumped on Davis from the opening tip and cruised to a 76-54 in nonleague boys basketball action Saturday night.
The Pirates were able to settle down, and trimmed the deficit to as few as 11 points before the
Papermakers used a 19-2 run in the third quarter to put the game out of reach.
D’Anthony Wiggins led Davis with 13 points and Damien Pimentel added 11 in the coaching debut of Raul Alvarado.
Iowa-bound forward Ethan Harris, considered one of if not the top recruit in the state, topped Camas with a game-high 19 points.
MEAD 71, WENATCHEE 51: At Mead, the Spokane version of Panthers outscored their CBBN counterparts 20-6 in the second quarter to take control of the game. Ryder Wray scored 12 points for Wenatchee.
EASTMONT 65, RIDGELINE 41: At East Wenatchee, Caden Andreas scored a game-high 25 points to leas the Falcons to the road victory. Tyse Lewallen led the Wildcats with 17.
EAST VALLEY 81, WHITE SWAN 37: At Yakima, Jeramy Garcia scored a game-high 28 points, Jaxon Beyerlein had 15 and Grayson Toth chipped in 10 as the Red Devils won.
GRANGER 39, KIONA-BENTON 33: At Granger, the Spartans held off the Bears for the home victory. No other details were available.
GIRLS
RIDGELINE 66, EASTMONT 45: At East Wenatchee, Giselle Hoven scored a team-high 13 points and Malia Lehman added 12 for the Wildcats.
At Granger, the Bears started the season with a victory.
