Earlier this month, East Valley quarterback Jaxon Berg was a finalist for the VarsityWA's Athlete of the Week,

This week, Berg's top target -- Montana State-bound receiver Greyson Stevens -- is in the running for the website's honor.

Stevens, already the school's all-time leading receiver, hauled in nine passes for 193 yards and four first half touchdowns in the Red Devils' 56-22 victory against Burlington-Edison in the first round of the Class 2A state playoffs at Earl Barden Sr. Field.

East Valley, 11-0 for the first time since 2004, continues its playoff marchat 3 p.m. Saturday against Lynden at West Valley's Clasen Field.
