Hull scores 1,000th point, Davis rolls in debut

KENNEWICK – Davis star junior Cheyenne Hull hit another milestone in her already decorated career.
The reigning state Player of the Year eclipsed the 1,000-point mark for her career on the game's first basket and finished with a game-high 18 points to lead the Pirates to an 81-32 victory Wednesday night at Kamiakin.
Isa Garcia added 17 and Kobe Johnson chipped in 10 as Davis opened defense of their Class 4A state championship.
The Pirates opened a 59-13 halftime lead, allowing them to play 12 players, 10 of whom scored.
Davis is off until Dec. 12 when it will host rival Eisenhower.
KAMIAKIN BOYS 63, DAVIS 42: At Kennewick, Damien Pimentel scored a team-high 14 points for the Pirates (0-2).
David Vazquez added 12 points for Davis, and Roggie Pruneda led the Braves with a game-high 20 points.
