Class 4A girls defending champion Davis remained No. 1 in the VarsityWA state rankings this week.

The Pirates (3-0) host Camas on Friday.

Zillah’s boys, third at last year’s state tournament, are again top-ranked in the 1A. Royal is fourth.

West Valley’s boys moved up one spot to No. 3 in the 4A, while Selah held down the same ranking in 3A for the second poll in a row.

Prosser’s girls, winners of three straight to open CWAC play, climbed to third in 2A. The Mustangs will visit No. 5 Ellensburg on Friday.

Selah is eighth and Grandview 10th in the same poll.

Wapato’s girls sit second in 1A, while Cashmere is seventh and Wapato ninth.
