GRANDVIEW – Miya Lopez scored a game-high 24 points and Leyla Rodriguez added 19 and 10th-ranked Grandview ended No. 5 Ellensburg’s 82-game regular season winning streak Thursday night with a 61-54 CWAC victory.

The Greyhounds improved to 3-1 in conference and 5-2 overall, while the Bulldogs fell to 2-1 and 4-1.

Bella Standish had 23 points and Molly Moffat added 11 for the Bulldogs, who have taken unbeaten records to the Class 2A championship game the past four years, winning titles in 2022 and 2023 before falling to Lynden the last two years.

Discounting the 2021 pandemic season, the streak was 102 games.

Ellensburg faces another tough outing with third-ranked Prosser coming to town.

The Mustangs are tied atop the CWAC standings with No. 6 Selah at 3-0 in conference play.

Grandview visits Othello on Friday.
