The top-ranked and defending Class 4A state champion Davis girls basketball teams debuted atop the WIAA Ratings Percentage Index (RPI).

Zillah’s boys and girls, tops in the 1A polls, also were No. 1 in the RPI rankings.

SCAC boys and girls have five teams in top five of 1A rankings, while CWAC has for topped by Selah, which is fourth in the boys and fifth for the girls.

The RPI is one of the tools the WIAA uses to seed teams for the state tournaments.
