While the top three teams in each poll remained the same, there was plenty of shakeup in the rest of the Power Rankings top 10.

Ellensburg’s sweep of Grandview helped shift things around. The Bulldogs boys upended the ninth-ranked Greyhounds, who were without Braden Santos (14.9 ppg), while junior Bell Standish scored 27 to keep Ellensburg in the tight race atop the CWAC.

BOYS STANDINGS/GIRLS STANDINGS

Sunnyside’s boys beat Moses Lake at home to take sole possession of second place in the CBBN, while Royal’s girls are making a move in the SCAC standings.

Here are this week’s Stat Hound Power Rankings:

BOYS

1. West Valley (–): The Rams rolled past Eastmont in its lone game of the season, but has third-place Moses Lake, fourth-place Davis and second-place Sunnyside in the next three games.

2. Zillah (–): The Leopards have scored 80 or more in seven of their last nine games, and hit 77 and 79 in the other contests.

3. Selah (–): With the flu bug hopefully flushed from the team, the third-ranked Vikings are three games away from their first full-schedule unbeaten trek through the CWAC since 2017-18.

4. Royal (+1): Saturday’s victory against Wapato was the second against a top-10 team by 16 or more points in the last three games for the Knights.

5. Grandview (-1): The loss Saturday at Ellensburg could make the regular season finale at Prosser for second place in the conference if the Greyhounds stumble before then.

6. Sunnyside (+1): CBBN scoring leader Aiden Sanchez and fellow junior Julian Villanueva have been key in the Grizzlies’ four-game winning streak.

7. Moses Lake (-1): Mavericks venture to West Valley on Friday, and can't afford to fall to far behind the Grizzlies, whom they meet on Feb. 13 in the conference finale.

8. Prosser (NR): A three-game winning streak will be tested with a trip to Selah on Tuesday and a home date against Grandview on Feb. 6 to cap the regular season.

9. Wapato (-2): After hosting Wahluke on Friday, the Wolves head to Cashmere on Saturday looking to keep their hold of third place.

10. Cashmere (NR): The Bulldogs have won four straight SCAC games and six overall, but face a daunting week with Royal and Wapato visiting Ron Doane Gym.

GIRLS

1. Davis (–): With Kobe Johnson knocking down 3s and a healthy Deets Parrish, is there any slowing the defending Class 4A champs?

2. Prosser (–): Mustangs junior Herbie has 123 points in three games, including a school- and

Yakima Valley-record 57 on Tuesday, ahead of Tuesday’s trip to Selah.

3. Zillah (–): After taking on Davis, the Leopards returned to SCAC play by giving up less than 25 points per game in three victories.

4. Selah (+1): The sixth-ranked Vikings have rolled since falling to Grandview at home, and host Prosser on Tuesday looking for a season sweep.

5. Grandview (-2): The Greyhounds saw a four-game winning streak end against Ellensburg, but can finish the regular season with a bang Feb. 6 hosting Prosser.

6. Ellensburg (–): The seventh-ranked Bulldogs continue to display staying power, this time beating Grandview at home after a loss at Prosser.

7. Royal (+1): Briana Cedillo and Graycie Kast keyed victories for the seventh-ranked Knights, who moved a game behind Wapato by beating the Wolves.

8. Wapato (-1): The Wolves missed a chance to all but lock up second place with a loss at Royal, but can bounce back this weekend ahead of a trip to Zillah on Feb. 3.

9. West Valley (–): The Rams were tripped up in their trip to Eastmont, and are set to head to Davis on Saturday after hosting Moses Lake the day before.

10. Cashmere (NR): First-year coach Brandon Eygabroad has the Bulldogs on a four-game conference winning streak, with tough tests at home this week against Royal and Wapato.
