West Valley boys cap conference perfection
Sixth-ranked Rams roll past Ike for 22nd CBBN victory in a row

For the first time in six years, the West Valley boys basketball team is perfect in the CBBN.
The sixth-ranked Rams raced past Eisenhower on Tuesday night to finish the conference schedule 12-0 in winning their 22ndstraight CBBN victory.
West Valley also won all dozen of its Big Nine games in 2020 when coach Jon Kinloch and his son Logan Kinloch, the co-CBBN Player of the Year that season, led the Rams to the Class 4A state tournament.
BOYS STANDINGS/GIRLS STANDINGS
Senior post Parker Mills led the Rams on Tuesday with 20 points, 16 coming in the first half, and Austin Birley had 17.
West Valley, which will host the district championship Feb. 19. Who the Rams will play will be decided Friday when Sunnyside visits Moses Lake.
The Grizzlies, who had dropped three straight games, cooled off Davis, 66-47, on Tuesday night. The Pirates has won four of five games coming into the contest.
Aiden Sanchez led Sunnyside with 28 points, Julian Villanueva had 15 and Ike Weets chipped in 14.
Defending state champion and top-ranked Davis can complete its own sweep of conference play
Friday when Wenatchee visits the Pirate Ship.
The Pirates (11-0, 18-2) rolled past Sunnyside 72-26 on Tuesday. Cheyenne Hull had 20 points and Isa Garcia added 17.
Davis will host the district championship Feb. 19, and its opponent has yet to be determined.
West Valley had a chance to earn a spot in the district final, but fell to the Cadets 75-61.
Ike travels to Eastmont on Thursday. If the Cadets win, they will be deadlocked with the Rams in second place with an 8-4 conference mark.
The tie would be broken by quality wins.
