Moses Lake sends seven wrestlers to 4A semifinals
Sunnyside's Torres still on track for second title, 2A and 1A gets going

TACOMA – Moses Lake wrestling has advanced seven wrestlers to the semifinals of the Class 4A tournament at Mat Classic XXXVII in the Tacoma Dome.
On the boys side, sophomore JR Villafana (106 pounds), juniors Conner Duvall (165) and Eli Anderson (215), and seniors Ian Garza (113) and Ian Anderson (157) were perfect on Thursday to advance to the final four.
For the girls. senior Elyssa Armendariz (100) and junior Emma Thompson (155) still have a shot at a championship.
Also advancing to the semis were Eisenhower sophomore Jarek Dobbie (132) made it on the boys side.
Sunnyside senior Danica Torres (110), looking for a second straight championship, and junior Alyssa Graciano (125) , and Davis junior Sawyer Newman (235) advanced to the finals.
Semifinals are scheduled for 3 p.m., with finals set to begin at 6:30.
The Class 2A and 1A tournaments got underway Friday morning, and will continue until the 3A and 4A resumes in the late afternoon.
