TACOMA -- Wrestlers from the CWAC and SCAC took their dominance to a state level Saturday. The conferences put a total of 36 wrestlers in championship matches at Mat Classic XXXVII in the Tacoma Dome.

Three of the teams title also looked headed Central Washington’s way with Toppenish girls, who are looking for a fifth consecutive title, on top of the 2A standings, Wapato’s repeat on track in the 1A boys and Royal’s girls closing in on their first championship as they lead the 1A/2B/1B standings.

Championship finals should be starting around 6 p.m.
