The top basketball players in the greater Yakima area squared off with the best from the Tri-Cities in Saturday’s annual SWX All-Star Classic at Davis High School.

Three juniors from Class 4A champion Davis dominated the girls game, a 98-72 Yakima victory.

Isa Garcia and Cheyenne Hull each scored 16 points, and Kobe Johnson added 13 for the victors. Garcia repeated as MVP of the event.

Pirates also had a big hand in Yakima’s 123-82 runaway in the boys game.

Damian Pimentel had 16, Marcus Smith 14 and D’Anthony Wiggins provided plenty of energy for the winners.

And super sophomore Austin Birley provided an MVP performance, scoring  21 points for Yakima, with dunks, drives to the hoop and 3-pointers.
