Birley's big game, Graham's pitching lead Rams to sweep
West Valley runs CBBN win streak to 24; Rams, Eastmont fastpitch split

EAST WENATCHEE – Eighth-ranked West Valley ran its CBBN winning streak to 24 games Friday with a sweep of Eastmont in a key doubleheader.
In the opening 17-5 victory, Drayden Birley hit a pair of two-run doubles and racked up five RBI, Alex Morales was 2-for-2 with two RBI and three runs, Karter Huwe had three hits, two RBI and three runs, Colby Graham drove in two runs and scored three more and Brody Roinestad knocked in two runs.
Graham tossed a four-hitter in the second game – a 3-0 WV victory – striking out five and walking just one.
Morales had two hits and an RBI, Colton Worley tripled and Rhyse Elder was 2 for 3 with a run for the Rams (6-0 CBBN, 9-0 overall), who capped the series sweep against Eastmont and are tied with Moses Lake atop the standings.
Manny Barios knocked in a pair of runs for the Wildcats (6-3, 6-4).
In other action, Wenatchee improved to 6-3 in conference and 7-4 overall with a 15-3, 12-1 sweep of Eisenhower.
Davis (1-8, 1-10) recorded its first win of the season with 4-3 victory in the first game of a doubleheader at Sunnyside.
The Grizzlies (2-7, 2-9) bounced back in the second game, beating the Pirates 6-1.

Rams, Wildcats split
YAKIMA – Senior Ainsley Johnson pitched a five-inning one-hitter, striking out 11 and walking just one, and helped her cause with a 3-for-3 effort with a double and three RBI to lead West Valley to a 10-0 victory in the opener.
Eastmont built a 7-0 lead in the second game, and then held on for a 7-6 victory.
Allie Hastings doubled and drove in three runs for the Wildcats (5-1 CBB, 10-3 overall), Halle Radich added three hits and three runs, Jace Burkhart had two hits, including a double, and drove in two runs, and Ava Garcia had two hits and knocked in two runs.
