The Class1A track and field season wrapped up with the state meet May 28-30 at Zaepfel Stadium in Yakima.

Zillah senior Aysia Garcia capped her prep career with a big final day of the state meet. After a second-place finish in the 100-meter dash with a PR of 12.09 seconds, she anchored the 4x100 relay to a victory, and then won the 200 with a personal-best 25.09.

Naches Valley’s Tygh Manfredi won the high jump, clearing 6 feet, 6 inches.

Connell’s Benjamin Naef took second place in the javelin, as did Cashmere’s boys 4x100 relay.
