Want to know who are the best players to watch in the Mid-Columbia Conference this season?

Here’s a list:

OL-DL Alexander Barreras, sr., Prosser

The 6-foot-3, 315-pound two-way starter earned first-team all-CWAC honors on both sides of the ball and will be a leader on the hulking front.

WR-DB Brody Buxton, jr., Prosser

After 63 receptions last season – eight of them for touchdowns – he is drawing comparisons to some of the top receivers in school history.

WR-DB Xzander Espino, jr., Prosser

Buxton’s running mate is a formidable receiver, too, and caught five touchdown passes himself.

WR-DB Jody Gardner, so., Quincy

A bright spot for the Jackrabbits last season, he earned all-CWAC honorable mention as ninth-grader and was won of the conference’s top triple jumpers

RB-DL Brayden Grimes, sr., Selah

A first-team all-conference selection after helping the Vikings to three shutout victories a season ago.

RB-DB Autry Hoefer, jr., Prosser

In a season shortened by injury, Hoefer still rushed for more than 100 yards per game as a sophomore, at nearly 8 yards a carry, and scored eight TDs.

RB-LB Korbyn Hopwood, sr., Prosser

After earning second-team all-Mid-Columbia Conference as a linebacker last year at Kamiakin, Hopwood returns to the Mustangs.

WR-DB Hayden Nelson-Hawkins, sr., Selah

With more that 300 yards receiving and solid work on the backend of the Vikings defense, Nelson-Hawkins earned all-conference honors on both sides of the ball.

RB-DL Ezequiel Ramirez, sr., Toppenish

A second-team selection at running back after rushing for more than 500 yards and five touchdowns, Ramirez also qualified for the state wrestling tournament.

OL-DL Aiden Valdez, sr., Othello

The Huskies always seem to have a powerful front, and the 6-foot-2, 310-pound second-team all-CWAC selection keeps that tradition going.

RB-DB Calen Wuitschick, sr., Selah

With more than 900 rushing yards and 11 touchdowns a season ago, the powerful senior will lead the Vikings’ pursuit of their first state berth since 2023.
