Royal hosted Cashmere in a SCAC regular-season game on Friday at David Nielsen Memorial Field.


The Knights won both matchups from last year that went into overtime during the regular-season matchup and the final moments of the Class 1A state championship game at Husky Stadium in Seattle.


Royal, which has won six straight state championships, pulled away for a 28-17 victory in this one.
