YAKIMA – Senior Marley Dittentholer caught a 5-yard pass from Nigel Hernandez and Davis defeated Eisenhower 28-22 in double overtime Friday night at Zaepfel Stadium to win its third straight game in the series.

Hernandez threw for 270 yards and four touchdowns, including a 60-yarder to Dittentholer in the fourth quarter to help the Pirates to a 14-6 lead.

But led by Finn Hopkins, the Cadets rallied to tie the game when Hopkins scored on a 1-yard run and added the two-point conversion,

Hopkins put Ike ahead in the overtime with a 25-yard run, and again followed his score with the two-point conversion.

Davis answered with Hernandez finding Tevin Rorie for a 26-yard score, and Tey’Jzon caught the conversion.

The Cadets were stopped on their possession of the second half, setting up the game-winning pass.

The Pirates (1-2) travel to West Valley on Friday, looking to win the Yakima title, while Ike (0-3) hosts Sunnyside.

MOSES LAKE 57, WEST VALLEY 7: At Moses Lake, Nolan Decubber threw for 148 yards and six touchdowns and the Mavericks (2-1) rebounded from a nonleague loss to open CBBN play with a dominating performance.

Elijah Burns and Case Anderson each caught a pair of touchdowns, while Malakai Moreno-Jackson, Caden Barney and Kage Miller had one apiece, and River Hutchinson returned a punt for a score.

Drayden Birley tossed a 2-yard touchdown to Donnie Malland for the Rams (0-3).

EASTMONT 49, SUNNYSIDE 6: At Sunnyside, the Wildcats rolled in Rory Rosenbach’s CBBN coaching debut. Backup quarterback Jeremiah Your rushed for a pair of touchdowns.

Eastmont (3-0) hosts Post Falls on Friday to cap its nonleague schedule.
