The high school football season begins Week 7 on Thursday with the Mid-Columbia Conference playing three of its five weekly games.
In the CWAC, the battle for the championship gets going with East Valley visiting Prosser in the first of three matchups that involve the conference's three unbeatens – the Red Devils and Mustangs, along with Selah.
Prosser hosts the Vikings next week, with East Valley heading to Selah next week.
Eastmont and Moses Lake look to dodge upsets in the CBBN, ahead of the Wildcats traveling to face the Mavericks on Oct. 23.
The MCC also has several key matchups that will go a long way to deciding the conference’s representatives to the Week 10 play-ins.
Both prognosticators went 18-1, with Walla Walla’s victory against
Sageview the only blemish.
