This course is designed for coaches, athletic directors, and sports enthusiasts involved in the high school leagues of Central Washington. Participants will gain insights into effectively covering high school athletic events and managing sports content online. Throughout the course, you will learn how to create engaging league pages that highlight your teams and athletes, effectively report on game results, conduct compelling previews, and manage dynamic photo galleries. Additionally, the course offers best practices for maintaining up-to-date standings and schedules, as well as leveraging polls and contests to increase audience engagement. With expert guidance, you will acquire the tools needed to provide meaningful coverage of events such as state volleyball and basketball tournaments at the Yakima Valley SunDome, ultimately enhancing the visibility and excitement surrounding local high school sports.
