Royal, Cashmere remain 1, 2 in VarsityWA rankings
East Valley climbs to No. 4 in 2A, and Moses Lake stays at No 7 in 4A

Five-time defending state champion Royal and SCAC rival Cashmere remained No. 1 and 2 in this week’s Class 1A top 10 in VarsityWA’s state rankings released Monday.
The Knights edged Cashmere 21-15 in overtime Oct. 3.
In 2A, East Valley moved up one spot to fourth after beating Selah to improve to 7-0 and take another step toward its first CWAC conference championship.
Othello, which sits just behind the Red Devils in the standings, remains No. 6.
Moses Lake, which won 21-0 at Eastmont on Friday to improve to 7-0, again is No. 7 in 4A. The
Mavericks are closing in on their second straight CBBN title.
Prosser (2A) and Zillah (1A) are listed as others just outside of the top 10 in their respective classes.
