West Valley girls near No. 2 seed as Rams sweep
WV girls on cusp of district final, defense keys fifth win in seven games,
STAT HOUND
Feb 8, 2026
West Valley's girls rode their defense to a 45-26 victory against Wenatchee at home Saturday to inch closer to the CBBN's No. 2 seed and a spot in the ditrict final against top-ranked and defending Class 4A champion Davis.
Myah Bartel scored 11 points and fellow sophomore Sloane Kneisler had 10 for the Rams, who have held five conference opponents to 40 points or less this season.
The Rams visit Eisenhower on Tuesday, and would clinch second place with a victory. Should the Cadets beat the Rams and win at Eastmont on Thursday, the tie would be decided the quality of wins.
Second place earns a team a spot in the Feb. 19 district championship at Davis, which has secured the top seed.
