With the teams ahead of Moses Lake and East Valley winning, and Royal and Cashmere already holding down the top two spots in Class 1A, there was no movement for the four locals in the VarsityWA top 10s.

Five-time defending state champion Knights and their SCAC-rival Bulldogs remained No. 1 and 2 in this week’s  rankings released Monday.

The Knights edged Cashmere 21-15 in overtime Oct. 3.

In 2A, East Valley remained fourth after cruising past Quincy 61-0 to nab at least a share of its first conference championship since 2004.

Othello, which sits just behind the Red Devils in the standings, was seventh.

Moses Lake, which handled West Valley 72-7 behind Brady Jay's big game to improve to 8-0, again is No. 7 in 4A. The Mavericks can finish undefeated in the CBBN for the second straight year when they head to Yakima on Friday to face Davis.

Prosser (2A) and Zillah (1A) are just outside of the top 10.

The CWAC and SCAC play Thursday this week.
